October Challenge Reminder - Monochromatic

Hello, and welcome back to the Christmas Craft Creations challenge for October!

This month our theme is Monochromatic - please make sure the theme is very clear in your project. If you missed our launch of the challenge you can find inspiration from our fantastic launch team here. And of course, there's even more beautiful inspiration to share with you today from our talented reminder team.

October Challenge - Monochromatic

Hello, and welcome to the Christmas Craft Creations challenge for October!

This month our theme is Monochromatic - please make sure you are only using shades of one colour on your design. Monochromatic doesn't mean you have to stick to black, white and shades of grey - we have lots of stunning inspiration for you from our team and guests which show just how varied you can get with a simple colour palette!

October Challenge Reminder - White-On-White & DT Call

Hello and welcome back to the Christmas Craft Creations Challenge for October.

Don't forget that we have a Design Team Call running. If you love crafting, and want to be making Christmas designs all year around you might be the right fit for the team!

Requirements for joining the team are:

- You must be willing to commit to making one Christmas project a month following the predetermined theme

- You must be willing to upload your project to the dedicated DT blog in a timely manner (we also have a DT group on Facebook)

- You commit to commenting on a selection of the entries to the challenge each month

- You commit to voting on top picks in a timely manner following the instructions provided

- You have a blog and preferably craft social media accounts such as Instagram (note: I will consider applicants that don't have a blog but do have an instagram account in special cases)

- You commit to promoting our challenge (e.g. in Facebook groups, instagram, etc.)

To apply please send an email to thejoyfulsoulcreates@gmail.com, or click the email link in the side bar, with the subject "CCC DT Call - [Your Name]" and include the following information:

- Your name and a brief bio (e.g. how long you've been crafting, a note on your style)

- Your team preference (launch team posts on the 2nd Wednesday each month, reminder team on the 4th Wednesday - please note that the stated preference does not guarantee invitation to that particular team)

- Mention any teams you are currently designing for or have previously designed for (prior experience is not a requirement)

- Links to your blog and any crafting social media pages you may have (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest...)

- Examples of three of your best projects (preferably Christmas projects but this is mostly to get an idea of your work)

Deadline for application is 31st October. Please make sure you have followed the application instructions completely. Not following the instructions will reduce your chances of joining the team. I will try to reply promptly to acknowledge all applications but please do be patient with me as I'm in the midst of an international move so things are very hectic!

We can't wait to see your applications and look forward to inviting you to the team

This month our theme is White-On-White - please make sure the theme is very clear in your project. Challenge Rules

1. Your entry must be a new project. Back linking is not allowed.

2. You must follow the provided theme, with the theme being immediately obvious, and create a Christmas project.

3. You must link back to the Christmas Craft Creations challenge post in your blog post, and include the challenge graphic. Entries from Instagram should use the tag #ChristmasCraftCreations

4. You may enter a maximum of 3 projects per challenge. There is no limit on how many challenges you can enter alongside ours.

Any entries found to not be following the rules may be deleted from the link-up without warning.

A new challenge starts on the second Wednesday of each month at 8am GMT, with a reminder post (and more inspiration!) at the same time on the fourth Wednesday. The challenge will close at 6pm GMT the Tuesday before the next challenge starts, and winners will be announced on the third Wednesday of the month.

You can enter with any Christmas craft that follows the theme of the month - a card, scrapbook page, 3D item, etc.

We are happy to accept entries that are not on a blog - for example from Instagram, Splitcoast Stampers, Flickr, etc. We cannot guarantee that these entries will receive comments though, as some DT members may not have an account on those sites.
